Stain Removal Tips
These are commonly used methods of removing dirt and stains from carpets and fabrics recommended by carpet manufacturers. We do not guarantee satisfaction and are not responsible for your results. CAUTION: Before applying any liquid or other cleaning agent, test on an inconspicuous area to insure the cleaning agent doesn't damage or otherwise affect the carpet or fabric.
For the stain type in the first table, follow the sequence of steps in the order indicated from the second table.

| Step | Cleaning Procedure |

| 1 | Liquid Spills: Blot with clean white absorbent material (paper towels or napkins). Solids: Remove with a rounded spoon or spatula. Always move from the outside edges inward toward the center. |
| 2 | Wet stain with a minimal amount of water, soak 1 minute, blot with paper towels, and repeat until no stain is visible on paper towels. |
| 3 | Apply a small amount of liquid detergent. Massage into stained area with fingertips, blot excess with paper towels, and repeat until no stain is visible on paper towels. |
| 4 | Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide and then ammonia to stained area. Blot, rinse with clear water, and blot up excess with paper towels. |
| 5 | Wet stain with a small amount of alcohol or dry cleaning solvent, blot dry immediately, and repeat until no stain is visible on paper towels. |
| 6 | Apply a small amount of nail polish remover, blot dry immediately, and repeat until no stain is visible on paper towels. |
| 7 | After the stain is removed, rinse with a sprinkle of water, then absorb all moisture with white towels. Place several layers of white paper towels over area with weights (such as books) and leave overnight. Repeat this step until no stain is visible on paper towels. Let carpet dry completely then brush pile to restore texture. |
